To bridge this gap, we built a custom elastic view that perfectly mimics the bounce effect and fluid interaction of iOS. When using an iPhone, the smooth pull-to-refresh interaction feels effortless, with a natural elasticity that responds just right. On Android, however, the default Swipe to Refresh feels rigid and lacks that satisfying bounce effect. We wanted to bring this same fluid experience to Android, so we built a custom elastic view that perfectly mimics the iOS scroll physics. After fine-tuning the gesture detection, overscroll behavior, and damping effect, we achieved a refresh interaction that feels just as intuitive as iOS. Now, developers can integrate this premium UI behavior into their apps with ease.
